boozer over Nelsons Column as the monument which most reflects The Details Results from a new survey by the UK’s favourite TV
shopping channel QVC have revealed our top national characteristics are
queuing and moaning, our favorite style Icon is 1960’s model Twiggy and the
local boozer is more British than Nelson’s column. The study found that the Queen got the fashionable vote after
Twiggy followed by leading designer Vivienne Westwood in third, 007 in fourth
and Posh with 6% in a lowly fifth just ahead of Catherine Zeta Jones. Interestingly the Bowler hat which made its name in the late 19th
century is rarely worn today and yet came on top for the most British
